Two progression systems

Personal upgrades are separate from the team talent tree

Each hunter owns two basic skills and unlocks one choice from three options at levels 2–6. The permanent team tree uses shared points and its own prerequisites.

How to balance coins, treasure, and risk with Lanny

Lanny runs two economies at once. Trading Expert converts spending into relic rewards, while All or Nothing borrows safety for a temporary final-damage window. A good plan decides which coins are progress, which are insurance, and when the burst is worth its exposure.

Use Vintage Musket to establish a baseline, then judge later equipment by whether it helps earn, spend, or protect resources. The rarest pickup is not automatically the best choice when it interrupts the coin threshold or leaves the temporary damage window unsupported.

Separate collected coins from spent coins

Some upgrades reward coin gain or cumulative collection, while Trading Expert advances only through spending. Survival branches may also require a reserve. Keep these counters separate: a large wallet can support a rescue but does not mean the spending reward has progressed.

  • Spending routes accelerate relic conversion.
  • Reserve routes keep coins available for repeated emergency recovery.
  • Collection scaling can grow even when those coins are later spent.

Choose the cost of the damage window

The branches around All or Nothing can remove its incoming-damage penalty, extend its duration, add critical pressure, or automate its activation. Removing risk improves reliability; keeping another branch may offer more output or reward. Automatic use is only helpful when its timing matches the fight rather than firing during a weak target or transition.

Record rewards and triggers, not an inflated total

Relics granted after a threshold, one-time rewards, fatal-hit coin costs, and shots created only during the active window are conditional events. Put them in the ledger until they occur, then evaluate the actual item received. The Build Planner can compare the stable equipment state without pretending an unidentified reward or future coin total is already known.
